I recently surveyed the market for Hana jobs but due to lack of jobs people are not learning it, most of talents are learning Analytics, big data, Hadoop, BI, Oracle and others.
How SAP is going to create jobs to motivate telent to take up on Hana?
Hi Jay,
Getting the job on HANA depends on many factors:
1. Your current geographic location
2. Your experience in the areas of BW, BO, BODS and BASIS (admin)
3. Your knowledge on HANA. Certification would only be a plus.
4. Your approach for getting job on HANA
As of now in the market, I agree that, there are less number of jobs available but in coming days you will see many employers will recruit in big numbers.
By the way if you are interested to work in Gurgoan, India then let me know. My employer is looking to hire HANA based positions in couple of months.
Regards
Raj

Hello Raj,
Would like to hear more about your employer and job profile, I have overall 15 yrs of exp in IT and since past 15 yrs I was based in China.
About Hana, is it must to know BW,BODS and admin modules as well? What I have experienced is BI + HANA is good combination.
Ya, currently I also dont see much of Hana jobs, maybe time will tell if Oracle or IBM doesn't come up with something similar.
Dear Mr. Jay Vardhan,
With SAP HANA, the customers & sap partner companies have got a new era of opportunities.
At this moment, HANA is elder than any other product mentioned by you but...
HANA has come up with entirely new way of data processing & the features are still getting improved every day.
There are several MNC's who are investing time & money to train their consultants for upcoming opportunities. My own company have already completed two projects. Team members involved in those projects have received benefits on their Financial & Career prospective.
HANA have started giving enormous growth to connected entities....
Be prepared in advance.
Kind rgds,
Ashwin Mane

Hi Jay,
I see the same pattern down here in Brazil, and in opposite, a lot of positions available in the US. Although my only source of information is Linkedin.
Besides the lack of jobs on HANA here, I'm preparing myself for the "boom" to be, and in the mean time I'm making my living as SD consultant.
In the end I'm only doing that because I'm growing a true excitement and interest on SAP HANA.
