Issue in Inspection Lot with Inspection Type 04

Hi,

We have Inspection Plan defined with multiple operations, each operation has MIC assigned. For one MIC the control Indicator in Inspection Scope was Set as Scope not Fixed.

While performing result recording in QE51n, it is going in endless loop and giving dump.

So we tested in Quality environment, by changing the scope to Fixed scope and it worked fine.

Now in Production environment, there is one Inspection lot for which result recording has been done for few operation. We would like changed scope being reflected in the existing inspection lot

There is no issue for new inspection lot created since it is picking new control indicators

You can't change the scope setting in an existing lot. a new lot must be created. Maheswaran is saying you can set the number of samples in the appropriate field in results recording.

If you have maintained the control indicator as Scope not Fixed, then you can define the scope while doing the results recording.

Please get a ABAP consultant to debug the dump & also post the error details of the dump.

Have you maintained any sampling procedure for that MIC??

Suggest you to give more details like what kind of sampling procedure you are using, what was the total inspection lot qty, etc.,

One word reply will not work out.

If you are using 100 % Inspection in Sampling procedure, then it may create time out dump.

Cancel the confirmation document, maintain the control indicator appropriately (Fixed scope / Large Scope), update the Inspection plan & do the confirmation again. So that, old Inspection lot will be cancelled & new lot will be generated with new control indicator settings.
