Getting the following error in the browser when trying to do a test on ICMAN or anything in PUBLIC in SICF.

Error code: ICF-IE-http -c: 000 -u: SAPSYS -l: E -s: BD2 -i: xxxxxxxxx  0 -w: 4 -d: 20130809 -t: 072940 -v: ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE -e: Log on with a dialog user

I am logged in with a dialog user.   i have checked SU01.   Webgui works fine.  Just nothing under ICMAN.  It's not even getting to the logon screen.

Just incase somebody else runs into this problem,  make sure the Default Host Interactive Options is set GUI LINK

Change Default_host

click on Service Data tab

Make sure GUI LINK is set to "NO" or "Not specified"

Hello David,

Quite strange... If the service is activated and you are using a dialog user ID...

You can check for additional errors in the developer traces (ST11): dev_wXX, dev_icfXX.

Reviewing the service properties should be a good hint too: check whether there was a change in the service (see the "Administration" tab in /sap/public/icman).

You can also check whether you can test service /sap/bc/icman/test01.

I hope this helps,

Cris

The only other error i find in the logs is listed below.   I have deactivated everything in public and re-activated everything.  NOTHING works in public, not even ping.  Same message

[Thr 10] *** WARNING => IcmJ2EEScheduleFunc: Cannot access "/sap/public/icman" (rc=500)- please check node in TA sicf [icxxman_mt.c 2595]
