Other Windows 2008 users cannot connect to my MaxDB database

I've created a database using the administrator account on a Windows SBS2008 server. Other users get this error when trying to connect :

[SAP AG][SQLOD32 DLL][SAP DB]Unable to connect to data source;-709 CONNECT: (could not create comm. shared memory [5]).

I'm running db version 7.6.6.10

I migrated from 7.6 to 7.7 and that resolved things - 7.6 mustn't be compatible with Windows SBS2008

Hello Joe,

To protect database resources from unauthorized access, MaxDB uses special operating system users and user groups.

Only administrator or the Members of the SDB Operators group can manage databases without belonging to the Administrators group. They have full access to the database resources listed using operating system commands; other operating system users only have read privileges.

More information about the MaxDB user concept - refer to the Wiki

Thanks for your reply which did not quite address my situation as my database was 7.6. However, by migrating to 7.7, I have arrived at a solution
