Route in sales and delivery document

Hi ,

1) Is  route compulsory in sales order.If no, What system settings do we have to do so that system does not give error if no route is to be put in sales order

2) If there is no route in sales order , then how can we determine route in a delivery document ?

Hi Sachin,

Point 1 - Route can be determined at Sales order level with Route Determination Without Weight Group (Order).

Point 2 - Route can be determined at Delivery level with Route Determination With Weight Group (Delivery).

Now in sales order as you are saying Route is mandatory then it might be assigned in your Incompletion Log.Please check the necesary setting for that.

Route determination is clearly described in Help.Sap.com please do some search and if you have any issue de let me know.
