Hi Team,
I have one requirement in sales order .
We have stock material. Let’s say 10qty.
One user on 07Aug---Created a sales order for 10 qty .but it is not delivered which suppose to deliver on 10-08-13.
Another user on 09-Aug has created a other SO for 5 qty which confirmed and delivered with the order qtty already booked for 07th Aug.
I need to block the qty for first user . whenever the booked qty for first order the stock should utilize only for first order , should not use for other orders.
How we can achieve this.
Regards
Ishi
there are a few things to consider..
1. is the second order created on 9th Aug a priority order? if yes, then there is no point in stopping it from using the First order's stock. Because, second order cant be delivered due to unavailability and the customer may not be happy.
2. if that's not the case, then see why the second order has a delivery date before the first order.
3. if the confirmed stock was reallocated using Backorder rescheduling, then check the selection variants based on what that happens.
4. If its an one-off case, in which you want to block stock for a particular order, then there is a check box called "Fixed Date/Qty" in the Sch line level, check that. This will prevent other orders from using the stock allotted to this sales order.

Hi,
First you have maintain Special Stock "E" in Item Category configuration.
After the configuration , create a Sales order and then done MB1B with movement type 412 E during you need to put sales order agianst which sales order you do reservation .
After Mb1b stock gets hard tagged and in stock overview you can see the same as against sales order. When done Delivery and PGI the stock got reduced from the sales order stock and not from unrestricted use.
If you do not do MB1b then system will allow to pick the quantity and create delivery but when do you do PGI system will Issue error "Sales order stock XXXX XXXX does not exist"
After that you will able to dispatch against respective sales order .

Hi,
You can use special stock indicator for the Order
In the Item category enable special stock indicator as E and post MB11 with movement type 412 E for the sales order stock, so particular quantity is reserved to that order
