Recommendations for PI SP8 Upgrade

Hello colleagues, working as TQM I was asked by the customer if the upgrade on SP8 would generate some benefits.

What's your experience here? Remaining on SP7 due to the fact that's not the newest one and all issues probably had been arose were fixed?

Hi Michael,

there is a decent number of fixes in SP08 (many of them are also available as patches to sp07)

so you can probably go two ways - either path SP07 or import SP08 (and also patch it),

if you need some details just go to patches on service.sap.com/swdc and open the info button next to the PI components in NW patch download,

if your client is using NW BPM you should also check the BPM section in components as there should be plenty of patches to this component too,
