Dear Sumit,

During an upgrade or the import of a Support Package, existing objects of the SAP standard are overwritten with the objects redelivered. To help the customer retain the objects modified in a previous release, SAP provides all modified objects which are redelivered (in an upgrade or Support Package) in the upgrade adjustment of transactions SPDD and SPAU. These transactions allow customers to enter their modifications into the corresponding new objects being delivered at the time of upgrade. The Modification Assistant supports this process of adopting customer modifications.

If you are talking about in general what has been changed in sap object after patching , that you can see the  ,for example SAP BASIS package SAPKB<target rel><Patch level> in Se01 or SE03.

Hi Sumit,

This is the user who has developed the object in development system in SAP.

So this is the owner of that object .it will not present in your system .

Any way SP are collection of TR's and any TR owned by user and later that TR exported in differnt systems within SAP (test , cons etc) and finially it relaead to customer .

if you click any SP tr you will get info like this.

Short description    Basis Support Package 01 for 6.20

Target System        SAP

Source client        000
Owner                SAPUSER
Status               Released
Last changed         25.04.2011 18:59:37

Best Regards,

Atul

Dear Sumit,

you could use Early Watch Alert to get a history for kernel patches. In EWA is the running kernel reported and the EWA is done periodicaly. This could maybe help you.

Hello Sumit,

you can check all Supportpackages imported to a system with the transaction SPAM. On the left side choose "Imported Support Packeges", then press buttod "Display"

Then you get a list of all imported Support Packages with date and time they were imported.

For Kernel patch you can only determin the rumming kernel. Go to transaction SM51-> Release Notes.

Hello Sumit,

When you apply a Basis SP to the system a new transport request is generated with the same name as the SP you applied. For example, if you applied SP13 for Basis component in a NW 7.01 the transport request will be named as SAPKB70113. You can check that TR in transaction SE01 and see all the objects that have been modified when you applied the SP in the system. Also, you can check the SP file information in the Support Portal to see what notes are included in the SP.

About kernel update, you can do the same as the SP file and check the file information in the Support Portal.

Best regards.
