Equipment object status missing.

Hello Experts,

We are facing the issue after the TDMS copy, we have time sliced the data.

But after the copy we got all the equipment under the master data EQUI but the equipment object status table has very less data.

We have copied 1 year data, but the equipment object status tables JEST and JSTO both as data for less that 6 months mainly for object category IEQ (which is equipment).

Please help us to figure out any criteria that may result into this situation.

Hello All,

Thanks for help and replies.

We have raised SAP message for the mentioned issue and as per SAP parameter P_EQUI_R must be set as space (default setting) to get all the data for table JEST and JSTO.

In our case the setting was set as 'X', which we set by refering the SAP Note 1433779, which SAP said should not be used for TDMS 4.0.

Now SAP has released another note 1897842 to fix the program error so that we can use 'X' and dont lose any data.

Please check the below points -

TDMS 3.0:

For the activity Fill Internal Header Table for Table JEST_REST -

Parameter P_IE = 'X' ?

Fill Internal Header Table for Table JEST-

Parameter P_IE = 'X' ?

TDMS 4.0

Identification of Status Data for Objects-

Parameter P_IE = 'X' ?

Identification of Object Numbers with Status-

Parameter P_IE = 'X' ?

If the above parameter setting was not observed then , this could be the reason of missing status data related to equipments.

Please let me know if this helps identify your issue.

Hello Arun,

Normally this should not happen because JEST selection is dependent on EQUI but as you said that you have got full data in EQUI, so it would be better if you can clarify below mentioned things :

1. You are on which release TDMS 3.0 or TDMS 4.0 and what's your SP level ?

2. Have you set parameter P_FULL to X for EQUI fill header activity in data transfer phase ?

Hi Arun,

I agree with Anita, but it is difficult to say as we dont know the variables also used during the TDMS,
