NW 7.0 - JVM upgrade

Hi ,

Need do to JVM upgrade from 4.1.019 to 4.1.032 to a NW 7.0 AS Java system. SAPJVM is not viewbale in JSPM for upgrade

Should we use SUM for the upgrade?..since just one component to be upgraded..how to use the SUM and the options to be selected?

Hi Daniel,

Looks like your question is how you would want to use the SUM- Software Update Manager.

Please look into the below links which gives overview how SUM tool is used.

Hi Daniel,

If the java is not visible in the JSPM used SUM tool to do the JVM upgrade.

Please place the jvm patch in the directory and while running the sum tool used that directory as the input parameter instead for the stack.xml file.

Yes, SUM is the answer..
