Need do to JVM upgrade from 4.1.019 to 4.1.032 to a NW 7.0 AS Java system. SAPJVM is not viewbale in JSPM for upgrade
Should we use SUM for the upgrade?..since just one component to be upgraded..how to use the SUM and the options to be selected?
Steps please
Thanks a ton
Hi Daniel,
Looks like your question is how you would want to use the SUM- Software Update Manager.
Please look into the below links which gives overview how SUM tool is used.
http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-25113
Let us know if this helps !!

Hi Daniel,
Yes, SUM is the answer..
Check the following notes:
Note 1133020 - How to import a SAP JVM patch into an AS Java
Note 1875044 - SAP JVM 4.1 Patch Collection 32 (build 4.1.032)
Note 1691084 - Modifying JAVA_HOME after update of SAPJVM 4 with SUM
1888623 - SUM tool is not able to identify the SAP JVM installed

Divyanshu
