We have a requirement wherein Project phases have to have the following statuses:
- Released
- Complete
- Cancel
- Lock
We see that the statuses 'Cancel', and 'Lock' do not figure in the list of statuses for Phases.
Please advise how we can bring them in.
Hi Deepak,
For phases, the status "lock" is available. As for cancel, it depends on whether based on phase type, the phase has an approval or not. If the phase has an approval, you would "cancel" the phase by initiating an approval process and then rejecting the approval. If the phase has no approval, then you would indirectly cancel the phase by cancel the project definition. The underlying assumption here is that the canceling the phase means the project is also canceled.
The other option you can look at is using a user defined status profile, however, keep in mind that the user status always lives alongside the system status.
Hope that helps.

Hi Deepak,
As per System Status we do n't have the Cancel status and we have following status for any Project Phases,
Created, Released, Locked, For Approval, Approval Granted, Approval Rejected and Completed.
Please refer the below link to understand the detail about Phase.
