Number M-200 is not defined for Material type Oil

Hi

While creating a material i am getting the below error

Industry Sector Chemical Industry

Material Type oil

Error :  Number M-200 is not defined for material type Oil

Advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated

Dear,

Make sure that Material Type is having which Number Ranges .I have indicated with red mark ,just check that Material Type is having which number ranges .Actually after creation of number ranges ,you need to assign that number ranges in that transaction itself only .

If you have any doubts please let me know .

Hi Naren, I tried that & i got the maintain number range intervals, where do i assign the number range to the Material type OIL.
