What are the major and small challenges faced in your SAP MDM current project

Hi Sri Ram,

In any SAP project, Understanding the complete requirements from the client and build a prototype according to the understanding and getting signed off is more the half battle done.

As Mir and Thamizharasi pointed out, Designing the data model according to the need is the foremost and major challenge which the developer as to face, After In Import Manager how are you going to Map the source and dstination fields is also the step which we have to take care of. Specially If your import and Syndication process is automatic.. (i.e MDIS and MDSS). Need to take care of Port's and their respective map's.

Also, As per the scope of the project the different systems through which your MDM is interacted you have to keep that also.

Please let us known If your query is specific to particular scenario.

Hi Sri Ram,

Difficult to list all concerns & challenges. Such things vary from project to team. to client to data gathering cabability and many more things. Data modelling is a vast challenge in any project. To identify correct tables, fields and maintaining relationship among them itself is a challenge.

You have many documnts available on forum that speak about common challenges.
