Background job disappearance in ARA

Hello,

I logged onto one of our GRC non-prod systems (currently on SP10, initial system build in 2011) and all background jobs run before today were missing in the front-end ARA.

Has anyone else ever experienced this or have any insight on why this would have happened?

Just want to add one point:

You can exclude the jobs in differentioation specifications of job section if you want some jobs to run without deleting.

Hi Marla,

The job SAP_REORG_JOBS is a
standard job which runs a report RSBTCDEL2 to delete old, canceled,
inconsistent, non-deleted jobs from the system. Your basis team may have scheduled a job with report RSBTCDEL2 and without any variant. That means background jobs older than 14 days (default) will be deleted from client.  Your basis team can create new variant in
Transaction SE38 specifying the number of day’s range after which the jobs need
to get deleted from the system.

This way your BC jobs will remain in system for longer period.

Please work with the basis team to identify if the required background jobs have been scheduled to delete the GRC jobs:

GRC doesn't have any mechanism to delete its jobs itself.
