SAP to OTM integartion

Hi Gurus,

We are in a process of doing SAP TO OTM(Oracle Transportation Management ) synchronous scenario.Please lemme know the best startegy (RFC ,Proxy) to follow and Which adapter (reciever) can be used to connect SAP to OTM. Any help is appreciated.

You can go with file adapter/SOAP in case they are ok with web services/ HTTP/s for OTM side and from SAP depends upon the type of data you are sending.(If you are having standard idoc/rfc and meets your criteria go with them if no other option could be proxy).

Check with your OTM members whether they want to implement synchronous flows or asynchronous messages which make synchronous cycle. And use the respective adapter with OTM.

As per my knowledge it will be asynchronous flow only in most cases as they don’t send immediate response.
