Pricing Calculation (Variants)

Hi Experts,

I have a scenario in pricing where I need to calculate a percentage surcharge on each variant condition. I tried to configure in below way but it doesn't work. Please suggest.

      Base Price  PR00     2000          2000

            VAR1   VA00       200            200

            VAR2   VA00       100            100

            VAR3   VA00         50             50

       Subtotal                   2350          2350

            VAR1   VA00          2%        I want this to be calculated on VAR1 200 = 4

            VAR2   VA00          5%        I want this to be calculated on VAR1 100 = 5

            VAR3   VA00         10%       I want this to be calculated on VAR1   50 = 5

I cant do this  by putting subtotal index or From-To.  Because percentage is then calculated on total value of VA00. I want this to be calculated individually.

     Please help.

Hi Suman,

Thanks for the reply... I will try to explain my requirement again.

   Base Price  PR00     2000          2000

            VAR1   VA00       200            200

            VAR2   VA00       100            100

            VAR3   VA00         50             50

I want to put a % discount on each VA00 condition separately so the my calculation is like as below

   Base Price  PR00     2000     =     2000

            VAR1   VA00       200      =      200

            VAR2   VA00       100      =      100

            VAR3   VA00         50       =      50

      Discount1 VA01        1%     =       2

      Discount1 VA01        5%     =       5

       Discount1 VA01        9%     =       4.5

I tried configuring VA01 and maintained VA01 in Vk11 as above but the required calculation in pricing is not working.

Hi,

Please provide your screen shot where different variant condition types are not working.

As per my knowledge it should work as we have done it many places where it works based on the different variant condition types.

Thanks,

Hi,

As per your screen shot you have maintained more than one condition record for a Variant Condition type like VA00 & VA01 is coming more than once. am not sure that you want this or not.Let assume that you want it in that case i do not think you can have any option in standard.

Why don't you maintain separate Variant condition types Like VA00 , VA01,VA02 and so on and follow what I posted above.

Waiting for your reply.

Thanks,

Suman$

Hi Suman,

Suppose if I have 20 Variants the I need to created 20 different condition types. This will not be a good idea........as this will increase the maintenance work...every time there is a new variant I need to create new condition type

Hi,

As per  your attached screen shot its calculating discount on total base  value of VA00

but if you want to calculate individually create& maintain three different variant conditions and different discount conditions.

Further information please find the screen shot.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Krishna.
