SCM dual stack Upgrade

Hi everybody!

We have a SCM 5.1 dual stack system and we want to make an upgrade to SCM 7.02

I have a big question, can I upgrade SCM 5.1 to 7.02 and keep dual stack functionality? or do I have to make a split operation?

As per the note this i dont think that you need to split the system to do the upgrade.

• If you want to use Add-Ons with a specific Enhancement Package, then refer to SAP Note 1600494.

So once you have upgraded to the SCM 7.02 you can use the split tool and split the system apart.
