Integrate SAP PI with ARTS Standards

Hi to all

My client needs to integrate Toshiba SurePOS ACE with SAP environment using SAP PI. The mechanism of integration is between ARTS standards (Association for Retail Technology Standards). This integration is SAP PI sending information to or receiving information of Toshiba SurePOS.

Has SAP PI some special adapter to integrate with ARTS technology?

You need to talk to the client system about how they want to support integration with PI.  Basically you can integrate with ARTS using following scenarios  with standard adapters like web service using soap adapter,  HTTP for web based,  JMS adapter for messaging integration.

Hi,

ARTS is a standard and SurePOS ACE is an application which adheres to this standard for Retail solutions. It should be XML based integration so you should be looking at standard adapters like SOAP, File (XML file) or JMS etc

You need to discuss the options with SurePOS ACE team, look at requirements, feasibility and advantages of using one adapter over another based on volume, real time or non- real time integration and other factors and then decide on the integration solution.

PS: There are no special adapters in PI for integration with SurePOS ACE.
