Hi SCN folks,
We have list of custom objects locked into TR,released the TR and taken the backup of data file and cofiles.
After the above step all the objects created above are deleted (manually) and locked into another TR called deletion TR.
Now we have re-imorted the first TR which conatins all the objects usng data file and co-file into same system.
Now TRS imported sucessfully but objects are not identified into system.
Is there anyprocess required from basis side to refersh.
Regards
Mahesh
A semi-senior abaper should be able to analize the import log in order to understand what happened with the import of the programs.
If you want I can analize it, but for that please provide the import logs, doing the following:
1) Go to the import buffer
2) Click on the transport and click CTRL+F4 (logs)
3) You will see someting like this:
Import 25.07.2013 18:48:32 (0) Successfully Completed
Check Versions 25.07.2013 18:48:38 (0) Successfully Completed
Generation of Programs and Screens 25.07.2013 18:48:47 (0) Successfully Completed
4) For each line click on the icon on the left
5) Click F5 two times (in order to expand the information)
6) In the menu: go to Log-> Save to PC File...
7) Choose HTML
😎 Place the file in this post so we can analize.
Cheers.
Mariano.

Hi Mahesh,
As you have told that you have deleted all the objects and you have saved all the objects in TR, but can you confirm whether all the objects including all it's peripheral dependents are saved in that TR or not . Secondly, while releasing , did you release directly or due to any locking issue, you have unlocked the objects from SE03 and then release ?
In simple word, if functional team has given you the TR without BASIS interpretation , then BASIS job is to copy the data file and co file and re-import (with overwrite original option). I don't think there will be any other step.
Please update !!

Nilutpal.

Have you set the import option to overwrite original objects? Normally, the system will not let you import objects that are "owned" by the system already. Did you release/export the deletion transport? It might help, if you could attach the export and import logs.
