Hi SCN folks,

We have list of custom objects locked into TR,released the TR and taken the backup of data file and cofiles.

After the above step all the objects created above are deleted (manually) and locked into another TR called deletion TR.

Now we have re-imorted the first TR which conatins all the objects usng data file and co-file into same system.

Now TRS imported sucessfully but objects are not identified into system.

Is there anyprocess required from basis side to refersh.

Regards

Mahesh

HI,

You can always do a transport of copies of the original transport containing the objects you want and reimport that and used overwrite option as Rishi stated.

Hello Mahesh,

To start with I think this is more of an ABAPer's issue. As you say that the Transport is imported successfully in the target system , this means that it is not a common import error. But there might be a case wherein the object creation requires certain perquisite changes which needs to be present in the Target system and the ABAPer has not included it in the Transport Request.

So one way round is ask the ABAPer to check if any perquisite changes need to be moved, ask him/her to check his/her own local objects from SE80 and see if he/she has forgotten to add the changes to his TR . If some changes are missing we can add it in a new transport request and move it to the target system .

Hi Mahesh,

Have you tried to import the transport with the overwrite option.

The transport has failed as you need to find the transport with which the object was created earlier.

In this transport you are trying to send the changes but you need to first create the object and then re import the changes with over write option.

Thanks
