Hi Sap Gurus,

We are on SRM 7.01

What is the procedure to know the purchasing group assigned to a particular user... and also how can i remove that user from  purchasing group.

Hello,

You can execute function module BBP_OM_DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP, providing user ID as input parameter. You will get all purchasing groups assigned to this user.

Purchasing group is assigned to user in PPOMA_BBP directly or via product category linkage.

In PPOMA_BBP, if you select a purchasing group, you will see under Responsibility tab, that it will be possible to tell which product categories are responsible for this purchasing group.

Then, if user is allowed to use this product category, it will be assigned to this purchasing group.
