Dear Experts,

I am facing an issue with the Idoc AAE receiver adapter. The communication channel and message log shows everything as successful. However, no Idocs were received in R/3. Also, I have enabled the trace to activate Idoc monitoring screen. I see the entries there with status 0. I need help in tracing the issue. Request you to please let me know of the steps.

Regards

Varun

Hi Dimitri,

Settings are all fine for me. How do I trace the Idoc as to find out where is it stuck. the comm channel and the message monitor show successful logs.

Hi Varun,

Check the queues on the back end system.

Also, check the message monitor on your back end system.

Hi,

if the communication channel log shows successful message then idoc must have reached to the target system..

Check you are looking in the correct target systems for the idocs..

Also cross check the configuration details provided in the RFC destination created once .

Check the queues of your ECC system.

Hi Varun,

What exactly do you mean with posting idocs manually?

Kind regards,

Dimitri

In the receiver comm channel, I have used the option manual. I gave the SAP system connection details manually in the channel.

Please have a look at my initial response and make sure everything is configured correctly in the NetWeaver Administrator.

Also, make sure the back end system is configured properly.

Hi Dimitri,

I have done some analysis. It seems this happens only when I check queue processing in the Idoc channel. Whenever I remove it, it works. Now I'm wondering what could be the reason behind that.

Hi Varun,

Please have a look at the SAP help: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw73ehp1/helpdata/en/cc/be413f7c8c4f978b7c755a4bc957d8/content.htm

and play around a bit.

Kind regards,

Hi Varun,

If the Idoc is successful in PI you might need to check the queues in your ECC System.

Hi,

Please verify if below connections works fine or not

1.RSA1 - Source system connection check

2.RFC's from both source and target system

3.WE20 and WE21 entries in both source and target system for both instances

4.Check in WE21 is partner port is active(If not active ,activate it),Check all message types Inbound and Outbound,to see if parameters are correct.

5.Check SM58 for stuck tRFC(Execute LUW's)

6.Check BD87 for stuck iDocs(Process IDocs)

7.Reactivate Source system using RSA1, if nothing else works

Thanks!!
