Session closing while executing NWBC

HI All,

After my system upgrade form NW 7.02 to NW 7.3. We are facing one issue with NWBC t-code. When ever we are executing the nwbc in the abap system we are re-directing to web browser. But at the same time abap system session is closing.

Shall we need to maintain any parameter for the same.

Issue is resolved by applying the note 1820764. Thanks Praveen and Nanditha.

Hi Rajesh,

Kindly implement the note-1820764 as suggested by Praveen.

This is a documented Netweaver 740 issue and  as a workaround use /oNWBC and not /nNWBC.

Kindly ask your basis team to review note 1820764 and apply the same. It may resolve your issue.

I have found the same issue with an ERP system on EhP6 and NW731.

Haven't had time to find a proper solution yet, but as a workaround you can keep the Abap session alive by starting the HMTL Business Client with command /onwbc.

I'm curious to know if you have found any other significant issues after upgrading GRC10 from 702 to 731?

NWBC transaction launches NWBC HTML. Is your SAP ABAP session closing completely or are you returning to the SAP Easy Access Menu?

yes SAP ABAP session closing completely.
