Hi

We are doing a PI  system copy , while importing the system in ABAP Post installation activities  Phase we are getting below error.

Please help us if any has any idea about this issue.

Could not install temporary license key - error code: 2.
E 307 likey_init_clt: rc of SsfLibVersion: 15 = SSF_API_SECTK_NO_LICENSE =
  security toolkit license (ticket) is missing or invalid.
E 542 likey_init_clt: At least one more attempt to load the SAPSECULIB will
  follow.
E 177 likey_admin_clt: likeyind_make_likey_from_pair: illegal format of the
  value string "": should contain 8 or 7 fields but it contains 0 fields.
License ticket file D:\usr\sap\WXD\DVEBMGS03\exe\ticket:
     ERROR: TICKET CORRUPTED

     Ticket NOT accepted

No License ticket file found (trying C:\Users\pavan_alleni\sec\ticket):
No License ticket file found (trying C:\secude\etc\ticket):

We are in process of Upgrading BI Production system from NW 7.0 to NW 7.4 using SUM tool.

We are facing the below error in Prepossessing phase of Upgrade.

Severe error(s) occurred in phase MAIN_SHDINST/SUBMOD_SHDALIASCRE/INSTTEMPLIC_SHD_CRE!    

Could not install temporary license key - error code: 2.

E 162 likey_admin_clt: rc of SsfLibVerify: 5 = SSF_API_SIGNER_ERRORS = there

  are signer errors.

E 172 likey_admin_clt: uResult = 27 =

  SSF_API_SIGNER_NOT_OK/SSF_API_RECIPIENT_NOT_OK = Signature not valid /

  operation not okay for recipient.

E 553 likey_admin_clt: The first temporary license key can't be installed

  because the caller couldn't identify itself.

SAPup> Process with PID 7816 terminated with status 2 at 20160203014308!

I've tried deleting the old licenses from BIP sysem and reinstalling  new licenses; still the error oersists.

Please suggest how do we resolve this issue.

Hello Laxmi,

In your case, please check that shadow instance is up and running. Temp license always install on Shadow instance. If shadow instance is down, kindly bring it up and continue the phase in SUM tool.

Hope it works. If not then kindly paste the logs here.

Hello,

1.Please check the hardware key of new system.

2. Delete the old license key.

3.Download the new licence from service market place with the help of S-userid .

4.Then u login 000 client sap*login --> go to > click new licence tab--> apply the new licence whichever u downloaded.

5.Restart the server and try it again

Note: You are requesting license key for correct server with correct database.

It looks to be an error in STRUST and issue with your PSE.

Can you please also check.

I check the profile parameters ssf/name and ssf/ssfapi_lib and it seems correct.

Have you installed certificate in your system.

I am doing the system copy with same SID and on same server with same instance number. I am able to login into abap stack and I can also see that license is already there. We are getting above said error when we are doing installation of primary application server. It is in phase doing apab post installation steps.

Initially we were getting the error

Then we have tried to put the ticket from sapcrypto file and then we got the error ticket corrupted as stated in thread. I have also installed one system by using same system export on other server and there it worked fine.

Please help here.

Hi

• check that the ticket from sapcrypto is a good one.
• uninstall the temporary license from OS by saplicense
• Ensure that your PSE are correct as per your destination host
• clean the saplikey table
• install the new saplicense as per your source machine H/W key
• update your kernel at source machine

Kindly check the value of environmental variable "SNC_LIB"

Set it as SNC_LIB = <path_to_libsecude>/<name_of_sapcrypto_library>
