Daylight Saving time in USA and Canada as of 2007

Hi ,

We have gone across 2 notes , 1022730(Time zone daylight saving time rule for N America -eg Mexico ) & 919538 (Daylight saving time start/end in USA and Canada as of 2007 )

In 919538 it is mentioned to create a entry in "Variable Summer time rules" only .

And in 1022730 it is mentioning to create entries in following areas of

STZBC.

--> summer time rules

--> Variable Summer time rules

--> Time zones (CST_NA ,EST_NA ,MST_NA )

Please let us know which notes is applicable .

Hello Dhaval,

From my understanding, Note 919538 is for USA and Canada, and Note 1022730 is for countries, like Mexico, which used to share same Daylight Saving rule with USA and Canada, but no longer does. And there should not be any conflict between those two notes ("NA" <> "USA").
