EP 7.31 - Stack trace displayed on client browser

Former Member

In our production portal 7.31 SP06 server with "Productive mode" tuned ON, the users see a stack trace on the browser window for any error or session expiration. As I understand for "Productive mode", they are not supposed to see the stack trace in the browser.

Is there any way to limit this?

Have you set DevelopmentMode = false in the Web Dynpro runtime?

Hi Faraz,

did you set it this way?

Check the row "DevelopmentMode" here.

This influences only the WD Java applications. Are you sure the stack trace you see is reported by WD Java and not any other e.g. portal runtime error, etc. ?

See if parameter is/HTTP/show_detailed_errors = FALSE does what you want.
