File to iDOC

hi all

Am doing a file to idoc scenario. I ve send the idoc succesfully to r/3. But in r/3 in TCODE we02 the idoc status comes as 51 which says

Incorrect function module IDOC_INPUT_DEBITOR_MDM called up

Message no. B1044

Diagnosis

The function module IDOC_INPUT_DEBITOR_MDM, which was called for the

application input, was not able to process the IDoc. A possible cause is

that the IDoc has wrong message type or IDoc type.

Procedure

Please check the message type assignment for the application function

module in the ALE customizing.

Am using the message type DEBMDM05.

Can anyone tell me the possible reasons forthjis error

Look into thre partner profile and your inbound idoc entry. What is the Process Code assigned? This process code should correspodng to the correct funtion module to process you r idoc.

Process code there is DEBM. How ca we check wjhether its correct process code

hmm.. As far as I remmeber it is the correct process code.

Go to We42 and see what is the Function module assgined to the process code DEBM and check from your functional team if this is the FM that should process the Idoc.

If yes, then they need to debug the Idoc data posted and let us ( XI consultants) know if there is any mismatch in the data posted and data expected.

The correct process code was DEBMDM which uses IDOC_INPUT_DEBITOR_MDM function modul. Now i ve changes the process code to that but still its showing the same error.

So can you be able to suggest the correct function module for DEBMDM

can you try with IDOC_INPUT_<Messagetype of our IDOC>
