Hello SAP Experts,

We have portal configured with the load balancer and LDAP.

I want to know if there is a way to access CI or App of the portal without the load balancer so we can logon with Administrator user.

Thanks In Advance,

George

Hi Rayi,

Do not use the FQDN just give a try with

1. In browser make the default page to blank.

2. close the browser and again open it

3. http://<host name>:<port>/irj/portal.

This will work for you may be.

Hi George,

Just an additional information,

You can log on to the individual server node of a java system. Please see the below notes which has informaiton on this.

Please check the below notes:

#1440724 [BC-CST-IC]  Addressing server nodes directly in AS Java

#1589567 [BC-JAS-WEB] How to login to a specific J2EE engine server node

Thanks and regards,

Hello

If you want to bypass the load balancing system and access the portal system, then directly call the portal page with the appropriate system number.

Hello Regan,

Thanks for your reply.

I would like to explain that if i launch http:<FQDN>:50000/nwa it redirects me to the LB.

even if i try with http:<hostname>:50000/nwa or irj/potal.

Thanks,

George

Hello George

Can you provide the system number of the AS Java and the CI Java ?

Are they running on the same host or different hosts ?

Hello George

I believe there is an SAP Web Dispatcher set up for load balancing.

In that case access the portal with the host name:

http://<AS host name>:50000/irj/portal

http://<CI host name>:50000/irj/portal
