Accessing the name of the process step in mapping

Hi,

I would like to use the infomation from the name of process step (set by BPE, send context) in mapping. There is one sap note 997227 with example for this usage. However it does not work for me.

          String processStep = (String) container. getGlobalContainer() 

                                                 .getParameters() 

                                                 .get("ProcessStep");

The ProcessStep is visible in sxi_monitor and filled in the XI_Context, but I still get the null back in the message mapping. Is anything changed since 7.11 ? The mentioned note is quite old (2006). Any help are appreciated.
