Object locked when changed by webgui-transaction via Firefox

Hi experts,

I have an webdynpro application which calls the sap transaction IW32 using ITS-webgui. IW32 is opened in a new tab/window. When this window is closed the edited order keeps being locked when using Firefox. With InternetExplorer everything works fine - no locking. Unfortunately our customer uses firefox as standard browser...

Probably my logoff-page (SICF->Error Pages->Logoff Page) could be involved in causing this problem (?). The reason for that code is, to prevent any kind of nessesary user activity or error message when closing the window. As I said, this works fine with IE.

Any idea is welcomed.

what BASIS and Kernel are you using, and what IE and Firefox versions are being used?

what are the GUI configuration settings of the WEBGUI service in transaction SICF?

Hi Sybille,

If you disable your custom logoff page in SICF - does it change behaviour when logging off via FIREFOX?

Do the user's physically close the page by closing the browser window - or do they click a logoff

button when finished with the transaction IW32?

Your code in SICF - does seem to match that provided in the note
