Hello!
We are on SM 4.0 for implementing a project. I need to use the "Message" functionality for managing issues during the implementation phase of the project. I do not want a full blown service desk-just the bare minimum to manage issues. How do I go about in implementing this feature of SM 4.0
Thanks.

Hi,
Do you have Service Desk in place.
Please check this file.

Check this note for Configuration.

You just have to click that create button and enter the details save it. The status will be changed as and when you update in Service Desk. Hope this will solve your problem.
Feel free to revert back.

Thanks Raghu. My requirement is to use the message functionality only for managing issues during the blueprint and realization phases. Is the implementation of a full-blown service desk functionality in all its entirety a pre-requisite for usage of message management during project implementation? Or is there a way with minimum config I can use this feature.
