Information Design Tool, SQL Server: login mixed up

Hi,

we are using the Information Design Tool (4.0, SP6) together with a MS SQL Server 2008 R2. We started to create a new project and connection for a MultiSource universe - but connection fails.

We then discovered that IDT mixes hostname and username! At the SQL Server console we see that IDT tries to login as "our_domain\our_bo_server_hostname$" instead of the given username as stated in the connection.

We are using the native MS SQL ODBC 10 driver.

Any thoughts why this happens? Is it the ODBC driver that wrongly translate the communication?

Unfortunately none of those links solved my problem.

It seems that IDT send the wrong login (hostname instead of username!) to the MS SQL Server. Is it an ODBC issue?
