Hi Amit,

Can you test the RFC SLD_UC  first to see if that (a) really does exist, and (b) connects?  That may show up a problem.

Thanks,

Graham

Hi Graham,

Yes it exists and connection test is successful, as shown below.

Hi Amit,

Create these two RFC tcp in the ECC system.

LCRSAPRFC

programID: LCRSAPRFC_<SLD_SID>

gateway host: <SLD_HOST>

gateway service: sapgw<SLD_INST_NO>

set Unicode flag

SAPSLDAPI

programID: SAPSLDAPI_<SLD_SID>

gateway host: <SLD_HOST>

gateway service: sapgw<SLD_INST_NO>

set Unicode flag

Checked the RFC SLD_NUC and SLD_UC both are pointing to Solman.

Now check Rz70.

Thanks

Hi Amit,

Please process as follows:

1 . http://sldhost:<port>/sld

2. administration->settings then select "datasupplier" in the section dropdown.

3.maintain the gateway host and gateway service.

Check your customizing in transaction SLDAPICUST.  You can also run transaction SLDCHECK to help analyzing your problem.

Hi Amit,

This is issue with Database Library(DBSL). SAP released latest patch 439(lib_dbsl_439-10007263.sar)

Please try with DBSL 439

Hi,

Please check the below options.

As of Release 7.1, an RFC gateway is contained in the AS Java. The gateway runs in the SCS instance together with the message server and the enqueue server. This gateway is recognized automatically in the SLD using the profile parameter "j2ee/gw/port".

The RFC gateway is generally configured automatically during the installation. It is an exception if you use a gateway that was installed in addition; this gateway is not recognized automatically. You can view the current configuration in the SLD Web user interface (UI) on the page Administration -> Details -> Data Suppliers. You can change the configuration on the page Administration -> Profile / Settings in the section "datasupplier".

Entering a GatewayHost and a GatewayService in the SLD overrides the automatic recognition of the SCS gateway. The standard services for the RFC gateway are sapgw<nr>, with <nr> being the instance number. You can also enter the port number directly (standard values 33<nr>).

Thanks

Hello

What you suggested is from this SAP note.

Note 1172161 - RFC gateway configuration for SLD Data Supplier

This is not valid as this is for AS Java configuration.

The problem here is configuring SLD for an ECC system with the Solution Manager

I think we are talking about the SLD UI and not about the java ssytem and i very well know what is the issue.

Thanks

Good Day

On an ABAP stack you call Tx RZ70 and configure the system with the central SLD

I am trying to configure RZ70  sld in SAP ECC 6.0 to connect to Solution Manager 7.1

The central SLD here is Solution Manager which is a dual stack.

The note clearly says that an additional gateway is not required if it is a dual-stack system.

In dual-stack systems (AS Java and AS ABAP), the system uses the RFC gateway of the ABAP part; an additional installation is not required in this case.

Note 1148028 - Setup SLD in the scope of Solution Manager 7.0

This SAP note is valid only if the SLD is set up on an AS Java (without an ABAP stack)

Read this SAP note

Note 1309239 - Configuration Wizard: PI NetWeaver initial setup

Hi,

1.  Delete the SLD_UC & SLD_NUC RFCs from Solution Manager system.

2. Surf http://<solman host name>: <port>/sld and click on ADMINISTRATION > PROFILE . Select the SECTION as ALL and give the details of ECC server host name & gateway details in two respective fields.

3. Now save the changes and restart the SLD.

4. Now again go to ECC server and run RZ70 by giving details of ECC server itself instead of Solution manager. It will still trigger the SLD details to Solution manager.

Thanks and Regards,

Hello

Follow this SAP KBA

1731348  - RFC call failed: JCO.Server could not find server function 'SET_SLD_DATA'

There are additional notes mentioned in this SAP note so make use of them as well.

Good Luck

Hi Amit,

Delete the Entries  of SLD_UC and SLD_NUC and then try to run the RZ70.

This might fixed the issue.
