EP and KM on NW731(PI System)

Hello Experts,

We have installed new PI system based on NW 731(EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.3)[DUAL STACK : ABAP+JAVA]

Can we add EP(Enterprise Portal) and KM(Knowledge Management) on above that? If yes, then how? Any SAP Note?

What all instance comes under EP and KM.

On going thorough some previous threads, I found that

EP consists of :

Enterprise Portal + EP Core - Application Portal

KM consists of:

Content Management +Search & Classification (TREX)

I am not able to find any technical usage named "Content Management". Is this "Content Management" is same as under EP named by "KMC CONTENT MANAGEMENT 7.31"??

I don't think this is possible. Besides it is not recommended to have EP and PI systems installed on the same host.

Can you give some link for EP, i.e. for what purpose EP is used. what should be architecture of EP and so on. I am not much familiar with EP. Is EP and Netweaver portal are same thing?

Generally what is environment of EP? Standalone Java or Dual Stack?? I am bit confused with Enterprise Portal.

AFAIK EP comes in the java only. no abap stack in here.
