MATMAS03 SAPMEINT split?

Hi

I try to understand why SAPMEINT split the MATMAS03 and then uses Z_MATMAS03 workflow to process the splitted IDOc?

Why cant SAPMEINT uses standard workflow as other IDocs similar for Matmas03?

Hi,

It is because the IDoc can contain material for different ME sites (ERP plants), even for those which are not supported in SAP ME. In this case, Split cuts off those unsupported sites and creates WS requests for supported ones.
