311 movement type

Hi Experts,

How we can manage the 311 movement type with warehouse? Because of we are going to implement the with 311 movement type within one plant and different storage locations and one warehouse so please give all details in deep  like how to design process in this scenario or with SAP system.

Hi Ram,

We can use WH mvmt type 311, for KANBAN material staging to transfer stock from WM managed storage location to KANBAN storage location.

Please confirm, you are looking at material staging steps?

Hello Rathode,

Before manage the Movement type , first you check is their your Warehouse number is  combination with  Plant & S.Loc .in the Table T320.

Below this two config you can manage the 311 Movement type for your Warehouse.

1.Logistics Execution->Warehouse Management->Interfaces->Inventory Management->Define Movement Types->Assign WM Movement Type References to IM Movement Types

2.Logistics Execution->Warehouse Management->Interfaces->Inventory Management->Define Movement Types->LE-WM Interface to Inventory Management.

                    If you doing standard 311 mov type means not required configuration,but you check the authorisation for user id...

We know that's the standart things actually  I am looking for the solution in warehouse process like how we can design the process in to the warehouse.
