Personas 2.0

Hi,

I noticed today in the Product Availability Matrix the impending release of Personas 2.0. Does anyone have any information on new features etc of this release? We need to determine whether to go with the current version or wait.

That note uses the phrase "Personas Release 2.0/ Release 1.0 SP02". Does that mean they are the same thing? I've heard that 1.0 SP2 is due out in the next couple of weeks, but was expecting 2.0 to be a more major release sometime in the future. Have I misunderstood?

Personas 2.0 contains two separate components, a Silverlight Personas and an HTML Personas. Details available here: http://scn.sap.com/community/gui/blog/2013/07/31/announcing-sap-screen-personas-20

The Silverlight component of Personas 2.0 is identical to Personas 1.0 SP2. They are both available today (July 31, 2013).
