ME 6.1 Install - Process for SAP ME Scripts Installation task stops at 95%

Hi All,

I am installing SAP ME 6.1 on NW 7.3/sp7.

Process for SAP ME Scripts Installation task stops at 95% [Chap 4.2 in CIG] with the message: Currently executing Step: Process to encrypt.

I didn't face this issue in previous installs. Has anyone faced this before, whats the solution.?

One difference i see: When i start lmuto.bat, i didnt get a prompt to enter username/password [lmauser/pass], SAP ME Script automation task page opens, not sure why !!

I dont see any errors in lmauto or lmtp log files located in $\\ME_SCRIPT\log\ folder.

Last entry in lmauto logs:

Any help would be highly appreciated.

As far as I know there was some fix against it and it should work in 6.1.2.0.

Please, also try to install scripts to the path suggested by default.

we tried it with "SAPMESCRIPTS02_0- 20009567.SAR - SAP MFG EXECUTION SCRIPTS 6.1.2.0".

We used default path except the drive letter. We installed on d:\ .

Hi Matthias,

The thing is that it worked for me today Just a few things to try:

-make sure you run the lmuto script as Administrator user;

-try to delete the folder and try again;

-try to install on drive C.

Hi,

I continued with the installation [SAP ME scripts is not complete!, Not sure if it correct ] and i could complete rest of installation/configuration without any issues. i logged-in to SAP ME and test a few activities.

Hi

ME logon functionality and activities do not depend on Scripts. You should check installed scripts if there is a problem.
