SAP R/3 4.7 Arabic Support

Hello Experts

We have an SAP R/3 system which is a non- unicode system. There is a request from business to enable arabic language to print all the customer facing documents in arabic. The document includes smartforms and Sap scripts. Need expert advice whether we can install language pack  or we need to convert to unicode. Our database size is 5TB.

Unicode is mandorty for Arabic. See http://service.sap.com/language and note 587150.
