Hi,

XS Engine is the concept introduced in HANA SPS5 so that HANA can make use of inbuilt application server and web server to build lightweight web applications.

To know more you can check the links as mentioned by Prakash above.

As a HANA DB Administrator, you will have to maintain application runtime configuration, maintain trust relationships using HANA XS Administration Tool
