PDF File download issue.

Hi

We have a web dynpro application with an upload funtionality for PDF documents.  It  stores data and when you click on the hyperlink of the document, it would open the document. the time upgraded, it opens an unreadable set of a page instead of pdf.

We are on ECC6 and SAP Netweaver 7.01. EHP 6

it would be great if anyone can guide me on this  ?

Hello Jay,

Most likely you have not set the correct MIME attribute for the PDF.

Maybe it is being sent to the web browser as text/html, where the correct attribute would be application/pdf.

You can use Fiddler 2.0 to check which kind of attribute is being sent to the web browser.
