Hi,
<b>Cross-Plant Material Status</b>Indicates whether the material may be used in the following areas for all plants:
Materials management (for example, in purchasing and in inventory management)
Production planning and control
Plant maintenance
Warehouse management
Costing with a quantity structure
Use
The cross-plant material status restricts the usability of the material for all plants, that is, it defines whether a warning or error message is displayed if you include the material in a particular function.
Example
The material may be a part under development or one to be discontinued.
<b>Distribution-chain-specific material status</b>
Indicates whether, for a specific distribution chain, the material may be used in individual functions in Sales and Distribution.
Use
The distribution-chain-specific material status restricts the usability of the material for the distribution chain concerned, that is, it defines whether a warning or error message is displayed if you include the material in a particular function.
Example
The material may be a part under development or one to be discontinued
Please reward if useful.
Thanks & Regards
Sadhu Kishore
