Hello

You should first read this SAP note

Note 1636252 - Installing a 7.20 kernel in SAP Web AS 7.00/7.01/7.10/7.11

Hi Raz R,

We really need more information as per suggestion of others.

1. What errors do you get if you do command disp+work -V |more

2. Also which OS windows or Linux/Unix?

3. Is your SAP system actually unicode or non unicode?

Hi Raz,

Are you updating kernal to 7.20 EXT non unicode ? What exactly error you are getting while upgrading kernal...? Also provide the OS details as well.....?

I suggest you to first check PAM for supported kernal for ECC 6.0 and OS/DB combination...

Sachin

Hi Raz,

1) For kernel upgrade issue, please share the following

      a) R3trans -d log

       b) dev_w0 log

2) As a suggestion, request you to upgrade your oracle database from Oracle 11.2.0.1.0 to at least 11.2.0.2 or higher. Current version 11.2.0.1 does not work well with SAP.

Hope this helps.
