Printing Front End vs Backend

Hi All,

im completely stumped here and could do with some advice please!

I am currently trying to print out a customer statement F.27.

Now, When i print via the Local Printer <b>SAPLPD </b> it works fine

But when I try and print via a SAP printer device, the printout cuts off the right side by a couple of millimeters.

Now I have the same device driver setup in SAP <b>HPLJ4000</b> as is setup on my WinXP computer here. So I would expect the same results. But no

I have tried setting Horizontal move -2mm. This doesnt effect it at all.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why/what i could do to fix this issue?

Ive also tried using

"Host Spool Access Method=C C: Direct operating system call"

and

"Host Spool Access Method=U U: Print using Berkeley Protocol"

can anyone suggest what could be causing the slight difference?

thanks

I have seen this same behavior, the printout doesn't always look the same when printed using different devices and/or local vs. network. What we have done, is to develop the form in such a way that it works for all devices, in your case, develop it to fit the page when using the sap network printer, and then see if all of the data fits on the page when printing to the other devices.
