The self update of SUM has finished successfully. After restart of SUM, it is then no longer possible to connect to SUM using management perspective of the HANA Studio. The following error is displayed:
Error:
Could not check credentials provided for user prdadm on host <hostname>.
Error Details:
Could not check credentials provided for user prdadm on host <hostname>.
Could not connect to SAP host agent on host hanadb4.
Check that it is
running.
HTTP transport error: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refusedConnection refused
Please suggest.

For certain steps of the upgrade, SUM calls the web services that the sapstarsrv process provide. Before SP05, communication between SUM and sapstarsrv via http or https. This means that SUM issued calls like https://<hostname>:1129 or http://<hostname>:1128. Whether http or https was used was determined depending on whether the sapstarsrv process had opened port 1129 and was hence providing secure communication via https.
This behaviour changed with SP05: From this version onwards, SUM only communicates with sapstartsrv using https. In case https is not configured on the process, opening connections will fail with the error 'connection refused', indicating that the port 1129 that SUM expects to be open for https communication Whether sapstartsrv provides https can be verified in the following ways:
Follow note no : 1826767 - 'Could not check credentials...Connection refused' when upgrading HANA using SUM

It maybe network issue, Could you check network it ok or not between HANA studio machine and HANA server machine? besides, please check alias or ip address update or not.
If it is okay for above checked, then you can delete your system and add system again by your account
