System Going into indefinite loop while accessing Leave Approval Appln.

Hi Experts,

The Leave request is getting triggered & it is available in SAP Inbox , but in the live system we are not able to change the status of the leave request to approved as it is to be done in ESS/MSS not in SAP Inbox.

Now the issue is when we try to run leave approval application the leave types & past information rearding  te employee is riflecting in FIORI but system is going into infinite loop.

Please guide where the issue could be????

Thanks for all the help, as i was not availble so was not able to reply.

tha issue is been solved with changing the user settings.

The approval apps when we run the app, we are able to see all the leave application data of the employee, his past data as well.

Employee name , the application etc.

But system screen is not ready for data entry or for any selections .

System is on read mode it seems but not able to allow us for data input/selection for approval as the system goes into infinite loop.

It sounds connection issue.

Have you configured the connection like trusted RFC?

Is there any other Firoi app running successfully? or Is it the first one?

Call the app in Google Chrome. Right click -> inspect element, Network tab.

Check the http call from client.

if you are using IE9, press F12.

Check the transaction /IWFND/ERROR_LOG.

Hi Masa,

Thanks for the update.So there are lot many areas to be checked.

One more thing would like to share here is that as i informed you before the live system is connected to ESS/MSS with workflows which looks different from the one maintioned in installation guide but the task 12300097 is assigned to it It is working fine for ESS/MSS.

But in FIORI the leave data is available for the employee but when we access the system it is going into infinite loop as i informed earlier.

Please guide on this.

Task ID should be the ID in your system.

Please follow generic troubleshooting steps in my previous post.

Hi Masa,

From your post i believe the workflow number could be anything not specifically 12300111 its not compulsory to use 12300111.

For Leave  Approval task ID 1230097 is already assigned to the system, i have cross checked the same.

I am able to view the leave data of the employee but it is in non data entry mode as the system is still tring to stabilise , that means system is able to read .

Connections are also looking fine still is there any other areas we should focus on.

App rover can only enter notes. What kind of issue do you have in the Leave Request Approval?
