Stack File Generation Issue

HI,

We updating SAP CRM 7.0 to EHP2 SAP CRM 7.0, during the process in step "Extraction: Intial Software Exration" facing an issue as below:

ERROR: The stack XML file "/usr/sap/<sID>DVEBMGS<instance no>/exe/patches/MOPZ/stack.xml" does not fit the current system:

Component BBPCRM release 700 SP level 0000 from XML differs from 0002 in source system!

Component SAP_ABA release 701 SP level 0000 from XML differs from 0003 in source system!

Component SAP_AP release 700 SP level 0000 from XML differs from 0015 in source system!

Component SAP_BASIS release 701 SP level 0000 from XML differs from 0003 in source system!

Component SAP_BS_FND release 701 SP level 0000 from XML differs from 0003 in source system!

Component SAP_BW release 701 SP level 0000 from XML differs from 0003 in source system!

Component WEBCUIF release 700 SP level 0000 from XML differs from 0003 in source system!

1) My CRM system SP level as below:

SAP_BASIS          701          0003          SAPKB70103

2) After generating the "stack file" i have checked the "stack.txt" file in that at botton it shows the information as below:

BBPCRM                        700       0000

PI_BASIS                      701       0003

SAP_ABA                       701       0000

SAP_AP                        700       0000

SAP_BASIS                     701       0000

SAP_BS_FND                    701       0000

SAP_BW                        701       0000

ST-PI                         2008_1_7000000

WEBCUIF                       700       0000

As per above points "1 and 2" my CRM system and the stacke file generated there was a differnece in the support pacjkage level due to this it showing the error during update.

I checked the configuration in "SMSY" and under "software Components" all the details of Support package are showing fine.

In SMSY configuration, i have selected only "CRM Application Server ABAP" under product instance selection.

Please suggest, where i went wrong...

Issue has been resolved, its the problem in SMSY config.

Hi,

    Check RFC SAP_OSS on your solution manager system and Satellite System, also check your system is properly defined in Market Place ==> System Data

    Then check in tx LMDB (if solman is 7.1) Software Components if it shows the right version.

   If you find inconsistencies is a good idea to repeat Solman_setup ==> Managed system Configuration to fix any problem

Hi,

In LMDB before generating your MOPZ and stack file go to Product system for your SID make sure your assignments product system to technical system assignments are correct.

Also your verification status here should be green then recreate your xml file.

Are you using SolMan 7.01 or 7.1?  I ask due to your statement about:

Hi Kumar,

The problem seems to be that your CRM is not connected to the right SLD which LMDB syncs with.

Goto RZ70 and correct the target SLD and in LMDB push a manually sync option.

Hi,

is there any error in managed system configuration and LMDB after the execution of verification check.

sometimes it may be the issue with the wrong in the LMDB and SLD sync with SMSY.

can you please trigger the SLD SYNC again in managed system configuration and try.

Also check the sap note 1608002 , after removing incosistency create the new transaction and try out.
