Hello admins,

After installing SAP ME 6.1 Scripts, I open link

http://hostname:50000/manufacturing

but says: You are not authorisez to view any changes.

When I installed sap me scripts from lmauto.bat, I did not get any error.

On link: http://hostname:50000/XMII

says: Fatal error: you do not have permissions to access service Personalization

Pls urgent help

Thank you

Chris

Hi Chris,

SAP ME Scripts are not related to http://server:port/manufacturing. So, you should check the roles and groups assigned to site_admin in NWA. For details on SAP ME roles, please consult SAP ME Security Guide @ SMP.

In fact, something this happens out of the blue. Then you can try re-login several times.

MII issue is likely to be related to missing SAP_XMII_* roles (to access XMII) and Role_SAPMEINT (to access SAPMEINT menu in XMII - see the same guide).

Hello Sergiy,

XMII looks fine.

But \manufacturing does not show any data. SITE_ADMIN has as roles: SAP_ME_* (integrator, administrator, user); SAP_XMII_* (developer, administrator) and role_sapmeint. And at Default Site: SAPME:DEFAULT SITE which was created.

On NWA: I can log on also with SITE_ADMIN user, but does not show as many features as administrator user.

Pls an advice. Im out of time already

Thx

Chris

1. Make sure you have upgraded to the latest patch of your SP.

2. Try restarting NW or me~ear application.

3. Check Component Installation Guide if all steps were completed as described.

4. If nothing above helps, log support ticket and open remote WTS connection to the system.

Regards,

Sergiy

Hello all,

Security Guide helped me. I created default site and set it for SITE_ADMIN and MESYS as "*" and then re-run the steps 4.1.2 from the installation guide and then lmauto.bat

Thank you

Hello all,

On NWA, I log on with administrator. On http:...\manufacturing, I log on with SITE_ADMIN, which has as roles: sap_xmii_administrator; sap_me_integrator; sap_me_adminstrator; sap_me_user; sap_xmii_developer; role_sapmeint

Looks like I need more roles, but which one?

Thank you

Chris

Hi Chris,
These roles should be enough. Is it the first logon or you were able to logon before? If the first logon fails, I wouldsuggest that you open a support message and provide connection to your system for support to analyze it on your side.

Hello,

Its the first log on. On http:...\XMII shows some information, but on http:...\manufacturing shows only: no authorizes to view any activities. Any more role to add for SAP ME?

Thank you

Chris

Hello Chris,

What user do you use to logon manufacturing and what netweaver roles does it have? Can you logon NWA with the same user?
