where abapers will come into back ground

Dear sd experts

I know how to do the back ground billing process at sm36 and vf06 also Generally with out abapers we can do this process but i know this work is shard with the abapers but i dont know where they will come

i have done on my ides only not in real time issues so plz tell me where they will come

Hi Venu,

If you are particularly talking about setting up a background job process for standard billing process, I do not see any need for developers. As you know, you would create a varient for a program and use the program name and varient while scheduling a backgroun job.  If you have heard that ABAPer helped for background job, then it could probably a custom program which a developer has developed and application/functional consultant used that program to schedule a background job. Even if additinal requirements are needed for the standard billing process, ABAPer would create a new one copying RV60SBAT.
