Material availability check

Hi Sir/Madam/Expert,

I have a question.

Material availability check is carried out for more than one plant at a time and it will be carried out at Item level.

Why this question is FALSE?

Please advice, and explain.

Hello,

Availability Check happens at Plant level for a material in Sales Order. At a given point of time Availability Check cannot be carried for multiple plants.

Hi Lit,

Just to add on,

The availablity check happen at plant level for a mterial item and if not available then the system proposes another plant where in the qty required might be available and if we confirm then we can take them from that PLANT.

Hi,

  Material Availability check will happen at Item Level for the Plant in the sales Order.

as in the sales order item level single Plant can be entered.
